- Take rice flakes into a strainer and wash it really nice 3-4 times with water.
- Soak rice flakes in water for just 1 min.
- Drain water cover rice flakes and set aside for 5 minutes.
- When rice flakes are soaked well then transfer them into a plate and mash with hand.
- When rice flakes are kneaded well then add boiled potato, chopped onion, green chilli, chopped capsicum, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, spinach, chilli powder and salt and mix them really good.
- Make small balls from the mixture.
- Heat up oil on medium heat in a pan. Drop balls in hot oil and fry them from all sides till it gets really nice golden colour.
- Take balls out, drain excess oil and transfer them onto a plate.
- You can have these balls as it is or with tomato sauce or chutney.
Roll into a ball then put it in the bowl of seaweed flakes. Hold the rice between your palms. Form the rice into a round, a triangle, or a cylinder by pressing lightly with your both palms, securing the filling in the middle. Roll the rice ball in your hands a few times, pressing lightly. Wrap the rice ball with a strip or two of nori (if using), or sprinkle some sesame seeds on them (if using).
