  6. Now take yogurt and add shan bombay biryani masala and mix it well.
  7. Now add the yogurt mixture in the chicken and add all the spices as mentioned above. It's totally optional but i like to add more spices. Now cook it for 1 minute and then cover it and let it cook for 15-20 minutes on low flame. Your delicious gravy is ready.
  8. Now put water according to your rice in another cooking pot and add salt and lemon slices and let the water boil and then add rice and half cook them and then rinse them.
  9. Now take orange or yellow food colour and mix it with milk.
  10. Now put half of the rice in the cooking pot and add the layer of gravy and then add the layer of remaining rice and add food colour mixture and green chillies and let it be steamed for 15-20 minutes on low flame and don't forget to place large sized pan under the cooking pot. And your scrumptious biryani is ready to serve.
