  3. Then add the atta (wheat flour) and roast it till it changes to brown color. Add all the remaining ghee while roasting and stir it continuously on medium flame. After it changes color at this stage add 1 cup warm milk and stir well.
  4. Mix well till all the milk is absorbed. Now add saffron strings soaked in little milk to this. This enhances the flavor and color.
  5. Then add a cup of warm water and stir well till all the water evaporates. Finally, add sugar and stir till it gets mixed and thickens.
  6. Add elaichi powder. Stir till halwa gets thickened and it leaves ghee from sides of the Kadai. At this stage off the flame. Halwa is ready.
  7. Delicious Badam Atta Halwa is ready to serve.
